The SWING DANCE ORCHESTRA consists of fourteen musicians, vocal soloists Bettina Labeau and David Rose and the vocal group the SKYLARKS. For special concert programs the orchestra can also be supplemented by strings and a harp.

The repertoire consists of more than 350 arrangements of famous, predominantly American tunes of the ‘20s, ‘30s and early ‘40s. In addition to the traditional swing numbers, the SWING DANCE ORCHESTRA also plays Latin American songs from that era, boogie-woogie and, upon special request, some waltzes and tangos. Thanks to the comprehensive repertoire, the band’s program, song list and playing time can be customized to your requirements.

The size of SWING DANCE ORCHESTRA can be varied to meet the needs for your event. You may also book other combinations of performers:

A quartet is available (optionally with or without vocalists) for receptions, dinners, incentive events and galas on a smaller scale as well as for private occasions.

The seven-piece SWING DANCE BAND (optionally with vocalists) plays a Dixieland-inspired combo swing and is great for a “get together”, for open air events, brunches and performances in clubs.

The SWING DANCE ORCHESTRA also offers the BALLROOM LINDY HOPPERS – a sensational swing dance troupe. You can book the number of dancing couples you need for your event.

You can also book the MISSISSIPPI RAMBLERS, an old-time jazz band which authentically purveys American music of the “Roaring Twenties“ – New Orleans Jazz – down to the last detail.

Finally, as an extra option to enhance your event, the elegant old-timers of bandleader Andrej Hermlin (a 1938 Buick Century and a1941 Buick Special) may be booked to provide an extraordinarily effective decorative element – indoors or out.
